Kinneil Museum

From Roman soldiers to racing drivers, Kinneil Museum is the starting point for an exploration into the colourful history of the Kinneil Estate. With object displays and information on the Antonine Wall World Heritage Site and Roman Fortlet, Kinneil House and its occupants including key historical figures like James Watt, and the social and industrial history of the area.
A short walk from the museum takes visitors to a Roman fortlet, a medieval church and the site of the medieval village, Kinneil House, and James Watt’s cottage.
Admission to Kinneil Museum is free.
